López Gómez

Daniel López Gómez (UOC) is PhD in Social Psychology, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Education and co-director of STS-B, a joint research group on Science and Technology Studies between UOC and UAB. He got the AQU research accreditation and a positive evaluation of 6-years period of research (2004-2009).
In the last 10 years he is been doing research on the social and ethical consequences of technological care innovations in ageing and disability. He has long experience as a researcher in national projects (4) and also EU projects (3). It is worth mentioning EFORTT (FP7), VALUE-AGEING (FP7), as postdoc Marie-Curie researcher at the Vrije Universitet Brussel, and more recently CUIDAR (H2020).
He is also the PI of a new research project recently funded by Fundación BBVA titled: “Alternative innovations for older people: A study of the Spanish senior cohousing movement”. He has single-authored and co-authored several papers in top ranked journals of social sciences with remarkable impact in the area for his age (h-index ISI WOK: 4; SCOPUS: 4).
